Chico's Thursday Night Farmer's Market began a new season April 3rd, 2008, and it will last through September. It is a weekly event sponsored by the Downtown Chico Business Association, where farmers and other vendors from around Northern California converge to sell their products. In addition, entertainment is offered in the various nooks and crannies of the market, including City Plaza. There's even street food provided by local restaurants such as Rosarito's Tamales and Speedy Burrito. The farmer's market is also an opportunity for many of Chico's organizations to reach out to the community.
The market is open every Thursday April through September from 6:00-9:00 pm. You can find it on Broadway Street between West 4th Street and West 2nd Street.
