Bidwell Presbyterian Church is the big redbrick church at First and Broadway. Its' historical roots in Chico go back to 1868, when it was founded by John and Annie Bidwell. At that time it was Chico Presbyterian Church at Fourth and Broadway on the corner now occupied by the Waterland-Breslauer Building. The Church's membership is heavily influenced by it's close proximity to Chico State and because of this, the Church offers both Traditional and Contemporary Services, as well as a service designed for students specifically.
The Church has a large membership and thus have many different service times for Sunday:
