The Butte College Chico Center is a remote campus of Butte College. Many general education courses are held here, allowing students in Chico to attend classes without commuting out to the main campus. The Butte College Buses stop at the Chico Center on their way to and from main campus. In addition to classrooms, there is a student services desk, a library, and a bookstore. This is where students are most likely to take summer coursework.

Before the Chico Center was built in its current location in 2004, there was a much smaller Chico Center located on Cohasset Road. There were only a few classrooms and a small bookstore, and was generally used for administrative and student services purposes. A bond measure in 2002 funded the building of the new facility, allowing for the full remote campus.
