The Butte Regional Household Hazardous Waste Facility is located at 1101 Marouder Street in the Chico Airpark complex.
The hours of operation are Fridays, 9 to 1 and Saturdays from 9 to 4.
It is open to all county households. Bring a utility bill or other proof of residency.
They accept most common electronic waste as well as common household hazardouse wates including: cleaners, paint, gasolilne, insecticides, pharmaceuticals, herbacides, motor oil, transmission fluid, anti-freeze, fluorescent tubes/bulbs and more.
They do not accept explosives, ammunition or smoke detectors.
Residential quantities are accepted at no charge. (5 gallons or 50 poundsm Not including ewaste)
