While I greatly appreciate the contributions, this page should be written from the point of view of CSU Chico students. This content coming from DavisWiki definitely shows a bias that is overwhelmingly favorable towards UC Davis. Obviously the wiki should document the unfavorable (or favorable, depending on who you are) characteristics of the University but terms like "abusive orgies" shouldn't be used. That would never fly on Wikipedia. — Ryan Mikulovsky

Just as a heads up, there's already a discussion on that subject on
editor's entry about the same thing. —Evan 'JabberWokky' Edwards

Ah. Interesting. Thanks for the heads-up. —RyanMikulovsky

I just did a
quick edit to try and remove a bit of Davis POV on it. Feel free to revert... just figured I'd try and help make it more general before it was "Chico-ized". :) —Evan 'JabberWokky' Edwards

Thanks! I made a few changes to make it more presentable but I hope most of it is replaced with something better. I'm not a CSU Chico student, so I'm somewhat reluctant to do this. I keep hoping DavidStillman will take the torch on CSU Chico topics :-) —RyanMikulovsky

I just read the comments here and on my user page, and I understand where people are coming from on the issue. I figured my reply would be better placed here. I was initially under the impression that it would be better to transition the available information to the
Chico Wiki, and let that community own the process of talking about CSU Chico for the rest of the
wiki's to read from, which is why I combined the
Davis Wiki content with the pre-existing
Chico Wiki content. But then I found out that each community is considered as a separate set of views (instead of an aggregate point of view across all
wikis everywhere). So, while each community now has roughly the same content as of now, I guess each version will continue to deviate from each other going forward. This actually sounds better after this discussion, since each community's biases and viewpoints will be preserved so that everyone can see them. I will keep this in mind when I jump between
wikis. -
