The City of Chico operates the City of Chico Compost Facility in which residents and businesses can drop-off yard waste for a small fee for recycling. Finished compost is also available for sale at the Facility.

The cost to drop-off yard waste starts at $5.00/compact pickup load and varies depending on vehicle and load size. Trailers will be considered as separate vehicles.
