Old Town Rootbeer Company is a small southern California chain that made its first northern California debut in Chico, CA. It's a family friendly eatery with alcoholic alternatives: root beer! The root beer company sells a wide variety of the sweet fizzy non-alcoholic soft drink made popular during Prohibition. They'll serve it on tap or you can buy individual bottles. In addition, they have meals such as homemade calzones, fried sweet potatoes, baked potatoes, and hot dogs.
The restaurant is at the location where the Riff Raff used to be some years ago.
