Pleasant Valley Pool is one of two public pools in Chico (along with Shapiro Pool). It is open to the public seasonally from June to August for swim lessons, lap swimming, and open swimming. It is also used year-round by various groups in town. Because it is adjacent to Bidwell Junior High School, their physical education courses take place there. Additionally, the Pleasant Valley High School swim team and the Aqua Jets use the pool for training.
